Content added: I've finally added a little more content to this site although I'm sure theres a load more that I could be adding. I'm currently starting on version 2 of this site although due to complimentary comments about the current one I've decided to run them side by side. For the designers out there, don't expect anything too dramatic or original - I need motivation for things like that and preferably decent photos, neither of which I have in great amounts....plus it's way too cold today! More content for HCS:
On the off chance that anyone is still waiting for promised major revamp of this site, that plan is still on the table when I can decide between about 20 designs. However, for the meantime I've picked out some quality accommodation to add to the site and hopefully provide a resource of some usefulness. Other sections will hopefully follow shortly when I get the time. Now back to programming the site of the day script which I've also been working on for months! See a pattern here? :)

A little behind schedule: For anyone waiting for the changes outlined below, yes things are running a little late. I started the new site in April, but it could be a while before anything hits your screens as I need to learn Perl, PHP4, networks configs etc. as well as decide what this should look like...

Long wait is over: After 4 or so years I've decided to take the dust sheets off this site and give it a major makeover. Probably based around DHTML although I think there will be versions for earlier browers.

Expanding the site: I'm planning to expand the scope of the site out to including anything Cumbrian related with lots of links to other sites to hopefully provide a central point linking all Cumbrian resources.

Never runs smoothly: The first quality Web site that I've found covering all aspects of Cumbrian life including businesses and organisations has just gone live at www.cumbria.uk.com so I've had to have a slight rethink.
By the way, you've got to see the First Internet Gurning Competition!

The grand opening: I still plan to revamp this site and may try to forge links with other sites including the above to provide a one stop site for finding Cumbrian information.

Your feedback: If you have any ideas as to what should be included here or just want to prove that people still read this site, please drop me a note

(I have to use the hotmail address due to excess spams although dispite its name I do still read it!)
