Since Lyn's debut at the Great Little Tea Shop in January 1998 everything from a pot of tea to delicious traditional home made meals including a speciality in Aberdeen Angus steaks have been available.
Vegetarian and other special diets are catered for.

Even if your not having a full meal, we don't think you will be able to resist our range of "Grandmothers Puddings". These puddings are made with traditional recipes and not for dieters with such classics as really sticky toffee pudding, bread and butter pudding, syrup sponge and the local favourite, rice pudding with the skin left on.
To compliment your meal there is a varied drinks list which includes real ales from the Cumbrian Jennings brewery.
Our restaurant has a growing reputation so booking is advisable.
