Directions:
- From the M6 Junction 40 roundabout head east along the A66 for about 1 mile.
- At the roundabout take the Shap (A6 South) turning.
- You will go down a steep hill and over a bridge.
- Continue through Eamont Bridge village until you come to the Beehive Inn.
- Opposite the Beehive turn right (next to the Crown Inn).
- Continue along that road for approx 3 miles past Yanwath village and over the motorway and rail bridges.
- Just over the rail bridge the road forks, keep to the right side road.
- About another mile along you will arrive in Tirril and about a further half mile into the village you will see the Queens Head Inn on your right.
- There is a large car park at the rear.
